The Market Tap

This restaurant wasn't the best we've been to. We waited a long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, the chips were extremely hard. If possible, I would recommend finding another place to eat. Additionally, one of the staff members was very unfriendly.

I stopped by for the quiz night and was impressed with the inviting atmosphere and wide selection of drinks at this restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic! Each dish was made with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

The Market Tap is a modern bar in York that only accepts card payments. It is known for its wide selection of cask-conditioned ales, craft beers, and Brew York beers in cans. Real ale enthusiasts will find this bar excellent, as it is featured in the Camra Good Beer Guide. While they do offer food, I have not personally sampled it. Additionally, the pub is dog-friendly.

Very nice cozy local, with good selection of beers. There were lots of families in and out when o was there on a Friday afternoon, and lots of people who knew each other, which I took to be a sign of a great community .

Excellent drinks and food. Very pleasant atmosphere and good for group meetings. The tables are always clean and the service was very good too. We were there during the Quiz of the week and it was really fun. I highly recommend it.
