Lemon Allspice - East York

This restaurant provides an excellent work environment for my colleague and I as assistant cooks. The kitchen staff not only teaches us new skills but also gives us the chance to hone our abilities. This collaborative atmosphere is like having a personal job coach, where we all support each other in our professional growth.

My 42-year-old niece who has downs syndrom has been working at lemon and allspice for many years. when she got the work with lemon and allspice after the high school, there was a chance to get meaningful employment (no medium playroom for those with impediments in these days) and more importantly have a sense of purpose and proud of what she loved to do: bake. I applaudiere carolyn lemon for their intention to establish lemon and allspice as a workplace oasis and urgently needed employment opportunity for adults with impediments.

The best thing about this restaurant is the opportunities it provides for my colleagues and I to learn and grow in the kitchen. Our job coach is very supportive and helps us improve every day, while also encouraging teamwork and collaboration among us. This supportive environment allows us to help each other and constantly strive to be better.
