Bidra med feedbackWe decided to get some fish and chips to go from this restaurant. The woman at the front was unhelpful and rude. Once inside, it was evident that the shop was in dire need of a thorough cleaning. The server made my wife wait for about 10 minutes before taking our order. Unfortunately, when we received our food, it was extremely greasy. Overall, it was not worth the cost and we will not be returning to this establishment.
The best fish and chips in Eastbourne can be found at this restaurant. The welcoming staff, especially Liz, make the experience even better. The food is cooked perfectly, making for a nice overall dining experience.
The restaurant has a spacious layout and provides excellent service. It is a great option for those seeking gluten-free dining choices. The battered fish dish takes about 25 to 30 minutes to prepare, suggesting that they use fresh oil for frying. I opted for grilled haddock with a jacket potato, which may not be the typical fish and chips dish, but it was delicious. This allowed my father to enjoy the traditional battered skate chips. The menu also includes a variety of drinks, with the waiter offering a sample of the cider selection.
Second visit of year, Sept 28th 2023 , best service and best fish and chips. Excellent. Would thoroughly recommend. To anyone visiting eastbourne.
Having seen this place on Trip Advisor, I stumbled across it and decided to pop in for my dinner. I had a medium cod and chips. Which was all nice. Just pricey £15 for cod, chips and a coke. But that seems to be the average price these days! Crazy isn’t it?!?
