Best Chinese food in the Minneapolis Saint Paul area and best orange chicken I ever had. Love this place!

My mother and I go a lot past this place and we decided to try. It was great, it was really easy to order, and when we wanted to pick up our food, the staff was very nice. The food was good, not the best I had, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. We especially enjoyed the egg foo young, steamed vegetables and sugar donuts. My orange chicken was pretty tasty, and although there was a lot of sauce, my mother says that her szechuan shrimps were great. I would definitely order from Haus Kai in the future.

The food here is pretty solid. I got the sesame chicken, friend got the beef and broccoli, and man got the sweet and sour chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. The roasted rice that came with the meal was good... nothing special. The cream cheese flakes are a bit disappointing. It's just pure cream cheese, but I guess if there are some cut liquor or other flavors in the cream cheese. Overall but, fairly good and affordable, and the fast, friendly service was definitely a plus!

I used to work there a long time ago and it was always outstandingly delicious. I am saddened to see the comments now on how it has gone downhill. I am confident Kai and Lai Chu must no longer own it, and that is why it's not the same
