The Edinburgh Diner

Note upon entering....there is a book to sign so u can be seated only most didn't follow that particular direction as we saw some walk right in and sit down at a table still unsure which is the business preference. As we waited almost 30 min for a table only to sit another 20 minutes for a drink order to be taken. Once the kitchen got caught up our order was finally taken and food was brought out in record time. The tenderloin was seasoned perfectly, HUGE portion, definitely can cut in half and make 2 meals. The onion rings were average, and the French fries were just blah, like a Kroger brand cooked at home. I opted for the crispy chicken, first they flattened it like the tenderloin, dark meat I might add and must use the same batter as it was greasy and no seasoning on it at all. Be careful with the hot sauce bottle as it squirts weird and can get on your clothes if not careful! Staff was all over the place but I am sure doing the best they could with what they had. The place is definitely dated and needs some much needed upgrades started with the old menus that were falling apart. Overall we can say we came but probably won't rush back.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely be regulars after today. The parking was great, it was very kid-friendly, and the service was excellent. We had a lovely lunch meal, with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. There was plenty of parking available, including options for free parking in the parking lot.

My boyfriend and I had the best service at this restaurant! Thank you to the lady in the orange outfit today. She seemed to enjoy her job, was smiling, and had a great attitude. The food was also delicious! Overall rating: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.
