Pataka - Edinburgh

I visited the restaurant with my family, and we all love Indian food. This place truly served some of the best dishes we've ever had. We tried a variety of starters and main courses, some spicy and some milder, and each dish was delicious and generously portioned. Our favorites were the Punjabi Karahi Gosht and the Kathmandu Huhn. The service was excellent and very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others!

The Indian cuisine was outstanding. The staff was very friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. Based on all the positive reviews it has received, we chose this restaurant, and we’re glad we did. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent dining experience! Favian was exceptional in suggesting delicious dishes that we both thoroughly enjoyed. We prefer our food spicy, and Pataka did not disappoint. If you're looking for authentic cuisine with outstanding flavor, this is the place for you!

The staff was friendly and welcoming and took my booking on the phone without annoying. at the arrival they took our coats to dry and were quick to ask if we wanted to order something. we ordered a pickle tablet and poppadome and knew we had the right choice, as these were all delicious and the mint and yoghurt sauce was made home. the samosas were also handmade and fresh and tasty. I ordered the Kathmandu chicken and it was hard. when I ate it nicely, the chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. the naan broth I ordered to accompany it was also phenomenal, no farewell, full of ingredients and fresh.

Had a lovely family meal. As always, Pataka makes delicious dishes, it is a go-to place for us as we had veggie and gluten free members in our group which was no problem at all.
