Dock Side - EDISTO ISLAND

During my visit to Edisto last week, my friends and I dined at Dockside, and it was quite a disappointment. I ordered the combo of fried shrimp and oysters with a baked potato, but the fried oysters were raw on the inside. I'm not sure what was wrong with the shrimp either. Everything just seemed off. The hushpuppies were brown on the outside but still had raw dough inside. Instead of the baked potato I requested, I received a few cold, limp fries, and the coleslaw was warm. One of my friends ordered the same dish as I did, and she's been dealing with food poisoning for the past two days. I think the only reason I didn’t get sick is that I didn’t eat much; I barely touched my meal. While I would like to return to Edisto, I definitely don’t want to experience that again.
