Albert's Family Restaurant - Edmonton

If you are looking for a good breakfast and great service. It not gourmet but it is good home cooked meals.

I located this place using the map feature and pulled into the parking lot. The external appearance and absence of customers cars raised a red flag. I decided, this wasn't going to be a good choice and promptly left. Maybe the food is good, maybe the service and value are as well., but appearance like presentation of a meal counts a lot.

Albert's has been in Edmonton for years and maybe that's why they have gotten sloppy with their cleaning. My friend and I were seated near the kitchen and a computer station with very dusty cables. Looking further, the booths also needed a good dusting. And the washroom stalls were not the cleanest, either. Makes you wonder what shape the kitchen is in??The food is standard bargain breakfast -- an omelet, hashbrowns and toast for $8.99 It tasted okay but nothing special and coffee refills are unlimited.However, the place needs a good scrubbing!

Always get a friendly welcome from the staff, only open until mid afternoon so basically it is a breakfast and lunch family restaurant food is good and wholesome .

Thought we'd try a small local spot for lunch - with the hopes of a good home cooked meal. Never will we eat here again. Old, dirty little restaurant. It's really time to wipe the menus down! Nothing like a frozen pre-made burnt burger for lunch. We watched all of our food sitting at the window for the waitress to take - she was too busy talking with co-workers to notice that it would be very cold by time it reached our table. Time for a revamp!
