Namaste India - Edmonton

First time having tandoori chicken and I’m addicted already. A little spicy with lots of flavour. Lamb biryani was spicy enough to make me sweat and the lamb was very tender. At first glance the aloo palak looks unappetizing, take a bite and it tastes delicious, also a perfect pair with spicy dishes to put out the fire on your tongue. Ordered delivery because I don’t own a car.

It was really delicious food. Everything was very well cooked. The staff was so nice . My kids really enjoyed and will come again definitely. All the very best to Namaste india.

Server was very friendly and made sure we were happy with the spice level of our dishes. We got the coconut fish curry, baingan bharta, and palak paneer. Dishes, rice and naan all came in good-sized portions. Place was clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend :

A friend and I had lunch here the other day and it was really delicious. The pakoras were lovely and crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy inside. Not at all greasy. The lamb dish was melt in your mouth tender and the paneer dish was rich and delicious. The garlic naan had everything I look for in naan. A bit crispy and chewy and buttery. The portions were a good size. Our server was very courteous and looked after us well.

The buffet is great value for the price you pay. Has many of the Indian staples you would expect, as well as a few twists to add more variety to the selection. Can't go wrong with most of the offerings available, and the plates help to retain the heat of the food longer than most places. This is my go to Indian restaurant due to the price and convenience near downtown Edmonton, wholeheartedly recommended.
