Catrinas - Edwardsville

My favorite restaurant in Edwardsville! The food is fresh, mostly healthy, and absolutely delicious. The decor is beautiful, and the atmosphere is great, complemented by the friendly staff. And I must mention, the guacamole is incredible!

Solid food! For the price it was just right! I had a combo plate with rice and beans. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in this price range it was pretty standard. Food was hot, service was quick. I think I enjoyed the decor and atmosphere the most. It would be a great place to meet up with friends and have drinks.

This place is SO GOOD. The food was great, and the decor really makes the restraint a nice place to be. And, they have a separate vegan menu! (Just ask for it, if you want it. However, this is also the only Mexican restaraunt that I've been to where they don't put a basket of chips on your table. This could be an advantage, depending on how you look at it, but I was expecting chips. Now your expectations are better set. ;

The tacos, guacamole, and mojitos were delicious! The service was quick and efficient. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that they use polyfoam containers for takeout.
