Joe Sippers Cafe - Effingham

I visited this restaurant while on my way to St. Louis. The place is adorable, offers packaged coffee for sale. The food was tasty and the employees were extremely welcoming.

They roast their own coffee on site, but their lattes don't really show it. The latte was just okay, quite bitter and with a high quality bean but lacking in flavor. However, it's still nice that this place exists. The food is great, and the chocolate-covered coffee beans are amazing.

Great coffee and tea! I love local coffee shops better than chain coffee shops. Local shops tend to have employees who actually care about their customers as opposed to chains who tend to just get 'em in, get 'em out.

Not to be missed! Cozy coffee shop with the best breakfast wrap I?ve ever had. And three options for coffee on tap. If you?re driving through and staying overnight, definitely skip the hotel breakfast and head here!
