Stir It Up - Egg Harbor Township

I'm so glad I finally visited this place! I had the black bean and sweet potato burger, and it was the best I've ever tasted. The glazed carrots were also excellent. This restaurant definitely knows what they're doing. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!

Not sure why this place has all of these 5 stars reviews. Maybe most of them are for the catering business and they do something different. I went there to pick up some food for dinner. Maybe people just have a really low standard for food. I ordered several different items and when I got home I was hungry and decided to try some. The Mac&Cheese the elbows were hard, I mean beyond al dente hard. They had been cooked but not long enough and I'm not a mushy pasta person. I tried the Italian Tuna salad and threw it out. Not only did it taste extremely fishy but it tasted off, like it had gone bad. I tried the BBQ Brisket. It was like someone cooked the brisket and then dumped a jar of some store bought BBQ sauce on it. Way too sugary. Then I tried some Chocolate Mousse. I LOVE Chocolate Mousse. Well if you've had Chocolate Mousse, it is supposed to be light, and airy. This stuff was like Chocolate Fudge, very heavy, very thick and yes very sugary. Sorry, based on what I have tried so far, it's like cafeteria food back in grammar school. Their food is not cheap either. I can not recommend this place and I understand that my review goes against all the other ones, but this was my experience
