Bidra med feedbackIts hard to believe that it only took 7 centuries to review this bread house that was built in 1333. As the story unfolds, as told in the english menu,...
Being there years ago in business trip I felt in love with this charming town. This time we went there with my family, and again to Brodhaus. Schnitzel and local beer and friendly service at top level among whole Germany.Perfect food, nice atmosphere. If you will be around, go there other way you miss the chance!
I went to times to this restaurant, first time everything was ok, but second time I wait for 40 minutes for the main plate and for receive the bill 20 minutes more. I assume that maybe is not usual in a German restaurant but this time I was bad luck.
This was a special visit for our friend who was born in Einbeck and used to come here after school with her friends. We were not disappointed! Although other seats were available, we sat inside a huge, up-sided beer barrel (as she had done in her youth) I did think that it might be a bit claustrophobic, bit it wasn't. The staff were friendly and patiently listened to my slow attempts at ordering food in German. The food is freshly cooked and so there was a wait-and so a few beers were sampled- but the wait was worthwhile. Home cooked food in a quirky environment.
Very fresh and very good. Better to make reservation especially if you come in lunch time. Perfect German cuisine.
