China 1968 - El Cajon

I recently relocated to the area and was in search of a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the BBQ pork fried rice and orange chicken, which both came with an egg roll and soup as part of the dinner option. Everything was amazing! The portions were generous, and the food was very fresh. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, making them ideal for leftovers. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff treated us wonderfully. Overall, I would definitely return.

Unexpectedly fantastic food! I didn't have high expectations given the location, but this spot truly is a hidden gem! The portions are generous, and the service is exceptionally friendly. The restaurant is incredibly clean overall, although the bathroom was somewhat unkempt and used for extra storage. If they take the time to tidy up the bathrooms, I'd happily upgrade my 4-star review to a 5-star, thanks to the great food and attentive service!

China 1968 has great food and great service! I came here with my girlfriend and her sister for an early lunch, so luckily we got there before their lunch rush. We got about 5 different items to share, and each one was delicious. I don't make it out to this area often, but next time I do, I will definitely be stopping by again!

China 1968 has provided me with consistently great Chinese food. And never greasy, which is a great big PLUS I my book. The friend chicken wings are HUGE along with being flavorful and juicy. The House Lo Mein is always a winner. Parking can get tight on the weekends but worth the time it takes to come here.
