Corner Bakery Cafe - El Cajon

This place is so cute! Reminds me of a place back in Michigan called Panera bread but the coffee is way better here at Corner bakery. BTW if you sit outside these birds make the cutest sound!

First things first, this place seems to always be packed. It is noisy but it has a nice relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, I?ve tried various of their items ranging from their soups, paninis, and breakfast offerings. I?ve been happy with all of it. They come in good portions and everything has good flavor except for the side of potatoes that come with breakfast. Those things are always dry and flavorless. The Anaheim panini is one of my favorite, it?s delicious. They also have very good coffee, it?s a self serve so you can make your coffee just the way you like it. I enjoy having breakfast here, they also offer free wifi and have some couches to sit on in case you?re not feeling like sitting at a table. There?s always a handful of people working on their laptops. Good place to have a nice cup of joe.

I walked into corner bakery feeling as if it was my family. I felt treated excellent, lots of compliments, and most of all, this kind, generous worker named Karla. I didn?t know what to pick, and she suggested the 4 stack pancakes. I was not disappointed. Amazing worker always with a smile on her face. I felt as if I knew her not just as a worker, but as a friend. Corner bakery has my stamp of approval

This was a breakfast stop. On the whole, i was not overly impressed. The coffee is excellent. Ordering was simple, though there was a bit of a line. Food came out pretty quick, but was nothing to rave about. I had the BLT Egg breakfast sandwich. If you 're a bacon-lover, then there 's plenty to love, but one leaf of lettuce and a couple of tomato slices means it 's skimpy on the LT part. The bread was very good, though. It 's a seat-yourself arrangement. The table had been bused after the previous diner, but had not been wiped down very well. It 's a large interior space, so pretty noisy. I might be tempted to revisit for the lunch/dinner menu, but no thanks for breakfast in spite of the great coffee.

Good food, fast service, clean. Even on a Saturday morning @10am, it was packed. But everyone greeted us with a smile.
