Silva's Taco Shop - El Cajon

We stopped by Silva's last night for takeout ahead of the TPHS vs Granite Hills girl's lacrosse game and loved the food and great service! What a gem, highly recommend this spot for authentic Mexican food!

Bean and cheese burrito for only 5 bucks and it's big great taco shop in the morning after they give me my food there's a male worker there who always tells me have a good day with a fist bump

I've been coming here since I was 12 years old that's over 20 years ago lol I've never came once and the food not taste the same! It's been the same cook for years!! And you can TASTE the love they put into it! I seriously don't have anything to do in El Cajon but decided to come here just to get the Carne Asada fries with American guacamole! I've tried almost everything on the menu and I'm always satisfied! By far the best taco shop in San Diego! I always feel like home when I come here! Thank you Silva's for the delicious food you're serving!!

The restaurant was recently re-decorated, and the ambiance is great. The food was a hit with us and our kids, and the service was really good. I'll be back!
