Bidra med feedbackThis sushi bar offers an incredibly authentic experience. They serve 6 to 7 varieties of miso soup, each one delightful. The seaweed salad is fantastic, and I can't get enough of the marinated garlic—it’s a must-try! The Osaka-style pressed sushi with house-smoked salmon is also a highlight. All the seafood is carefully selected by the owner, ensuring it's as fresh as possible. Be sure to make a reservation, as it can get quite busy.
I’ve brought business guests from Tokyo to this restaurant, and they were absolutely amazed. What more can I say?
If you're looking for the freshest sushi around, this is the place to be. Be prepared to spend nearly two hours enjoying your meal due to the seating arrangement. Typically, only six diners are served at each seating, but during my visit, two guests from the next seating were allowed to sit at the sushi bar. Aki-san, the owner and sushi chef, is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. As he prepares the sushi, he takes the time to explain the correct way to pick up nigiri with chopsticks or to discuss the differences between various types of fish. He is truly dedicated to ensuring his customers have the best dining experience possible. Sushi Sho is ideal for couples, as you're likely to find intriguing items on the daily menu that you may never have tried before. For example, I decided to taste the Saba, a fish I've disliked for over 30 years due to its strong flavor, and Sushi Sho made it surprisingly enjoyable. If you're feeling adventurous, this is definitely the place to take the plunge.
We loved this place the sushi chef was great and the sushi was delicious. We didn't realize that a 7pm reservation would be when the 8 person counter would be ready so as long as you're prepared for that. As our first time here, we shared the omakase menu and had 2 types of sashimi. We definitely did not do the omakase menu justice by sharing so each person should definitely get their own. My favorite was the cold smoked salmon. I will definitely come back to this place.
Aki-San is an artist when it comes to sushi and sashimi. If you're in for a treat, Sushi Sho is the place to go.
