Como Vaca Parrilla Restaurant

Como Vaca is not a fancy place. But when we saw a big slab of rib eye quivering by the parilla and a man with a big knife chopping off steaks from the fresh meat block before slinging it over to the burning fire, we knew we were in for a treat. This was by far the best rib eye we have ever tasted. The father and son team do not make efforts to dress up for their guests, they focus on turning out a fabulous steak with decent but not ostentatious malbec with friendly service and genuine interest in your well being. Really happy we went here.

Best restaurant in El Chalten! We came here on our last night, and after hiking about 15 miles we had quite the appetite. It was early April and quite chilly outside, but when we walked in we felt the warmth in every sense, the grill was heating up, and Rodrigo, our waiter, was very welcoming. We had the mixed grill, which as the name suggests, included every type of meat. I have never eaten steak and lamb cooked to such perfection, it was the best meal of our trip! Come with an appetite and just enjoy everything about this wonderful restaurant.

AMAZING FOOD! We went to Como Vaca after being recommended by our hostel once. And came back for a second time it was so good! The atmosphere is very friendly and homely...ran by a father and son. The food feels like an authentic taste of patagonia/Argentina parilla. First night we had a 2person shared plate of various grilled meat. Way too much meat...was very tender and soo tastey! It was good perfectly. The second time we shared the friend provolone cheese, grilled veggies and a lamb dish! Again was all cooked to perfection! Wine was very nice too! Wish we had time to come again.

Très bonne qualité de viande pour la parillada, tarif tout à fait convenable et ambiance familiale.Cadre typique et sympatique.
