54 on the Way is an excellent spot for breakfast. It's popular with the locals, which is a good sign of its quality. Our waitress was fantastic, and the service was both quick and attentive. The place is also very clean. Highly recommended!

The waitstaff are prompt and efficient, with at least 3 out of 4 on duty during Saturday morning. I usually sit at the bar, and I’ve noticed that the chefs are quick, maintain a clean workspace, and are very courteous to both the waitstaff and customers.

The food is consistently served hot and comes out quickly. The portions are generous. I will definitely return.

We ate here 2 mornings in a row. The first day the Belgian waffle my wife had was awesome. Light, fluffy and the fruit was very fresh. I had the Popeye omelet which was awesome as well. The 2nd day the food was still great but the wait for it was extremely long. The server gave us an update on our order and apologized for the time it was taking. The server also gave us his employee discount on the meal which was unexpected but very much appreciated. I would highly suggest this place because of the attentiveness of the servers which no matter how good the food is, the service can make or break the experience.

First time there...and the atmosphere alone made it all worth it. I travel all over, and eat out almost every single time. Only time I'll do a review, if the experience was awesome. Food was top notch, and served quick. Waiter made the experience that much better. Highly recommend this restaurant chain....and if your in the town of El Dorado, KS....got to check this place out.
