Flightz Wine Pub - El Dorado Hills

Delicious food and great wine, but I felt ignored. Som regulars at a table near us got lots of attention, but none for us until we were done eating. I asked about a wine one of the tables near us were drinking. She named the wine and walked away. I was actually interested in trying it. Guess they don 't want my money. In addition, if you don 't pay cash there is a 4% credit card charge . Of course they add the charge THEN apply tax, so you are taxed on the charge, whether you pay cash or not. And to top it off, our change was 50 cents light. So the waitress lost out on 50 cents of her tip (we tipped cash, not just the missing 50 cents). Great food, not great service. A little more attention would have had us there buying wine and spending money. Instead we left promptly.

I am one of those weird people who does not like wine, so I wasn't super excited about Flightz. My husband and I decided to give it a try I am glad we did! They have a great selection of beer and wine! The food was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles, which was sooo good! The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The tables are a little close together, so it can be a bit loud (just FYI).

We always order the Meat Cheese tray. A little pricey but we'll worth the money. The owner server always acknowledges us when arriving is amazingly friendly great service!!

I would have rated it a 4 but the ambiance and decor were more consistent with a lower price point and quality restaurant. Jambalaya was not spicy and had too much ground chicken for my liking. The brussels were not very flavorful and served with a straight mustard/mayonnaise sauce that was not complimentary.

The food was delicious. Was recommended the ABC burger. It was fantastic. The owner came out and greeted us and followed up on how everything was. The server was very personable and made recommendations for the next time I come back.
