First of all, I am really picky especially on my soul Japanese food. Food quality is very good and price is reasonable. I gave 4 stars only because there wasn’t a ‘Wow’ moment, but seriously, it is high quality. I go to El Segundo for work 2, 3 times a month, and I dine there at least once a month now. This local favorite restaurant is family-owned and offers good food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. They have great lunch specials available. For parking, you can either use the free parking in the back of the restaurant (7 spaces) or try your luck with finding free street parking, especially during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual lunch.

Impressed by the food and service! It's a small, intimate restaurant with a sake bar and two U-shaped tables , with a few booths. Recommend making a reservation! For the portions and quality of food, prices are worth it. The food is plated so beautifully , with lots of sides. The tempura soba was warming and I loved the variety of veggie tempura. Fish for the sushi gozen was incredibly fresh (and it comes with katsu, tempura, soba, and a tofu side dish?!! Waiters were friendly, attentive and sweet.
