Bidra med feedbackI absolutely adore this restaurant. The teriyaki sauce here is the best I've ever had. The portions are generous and I highly recommend trying the combo platter with teriyaki chicken and beef. My only complaint is that they don't serve enough vegetables with the food.
I decided to order the chicken teriyaki entree, as I am not a fan of spicy food. The cost was around $15, which is a good deal in Los Angeles, especially considering the portion size. This place reminded me of the Sarku Japan days in the mall during my high school and middle school years in New Jersey. I Love Teriyaki has an old-fashioned feel to it, as if it has been around since the early days of LA. The atmosphere is classic and the food is excellent. The teriyaki sauce had a perfect blend of savory and umami flavors, similar to the chicken teriyaki dish from Sarku Japan but even better. The homemade taste of the chicken teriyaki, paired with the sauce on the salad and rice, was a delicious combination. Be prepared to feel very full if you finish the entire dish in one sitting. After enjoying the meal, I recommend taking a stroll around the area. The atmosphere has a unique old Western vibe, which is quite different from the newer and more upscale areas of Los Angeles. This part of El Segundo has maintained its history and offers a different experience compared to other parts of the LA metro area. I highly recommend checking out Main St. in El Segundo for a unique dining experience in LA.

The salad and rice complemented the chicken teriyaki well, creating a delicious meal that left me feeling extremely full. After enjoying the meal, taking a stroll around the area gave off an old Western vibe, which was surprising for California but added to the charm of El Segundo.
