The Waters Edge - Eling United Kingdom

The hot drinks were cold and overpriced. The place has been refurbished but now looks cheap and tacky.

The food at this restaurant is decent, but it's definitely overpriced. Unfortunately, the service was below average. During my visit, I noticed that the restaurant displayed a five-star food and hygiene rating certificate, but upon checking with the authorities, I learned they actually only had three stars. I was quite disappointed to find out that the Wi-Fi password wasn't available to everyone. All of my friends received it, but when I asked the woman at the counter, she refused to give it to me, claiming it was too slow and that I would be better off using my mobile data. I even asked twice on different occasions. Perhaps my expression didn't help. Additionally, on my last visit, the owner asked me to leave at 9:15 PM because he needed to close up.

The staff is fantastic, and the menu is impressive! After being closed for some time, this restaurant has reopened under excellent new management. It's a true hidden gem—definitely worth a visit!

The establishment now known as the Gaff Rigger has reopened under new management, and it has become a fantastic spot for delicious food and reasonably priced drinks, all served by a lovely and friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
