Groupers Waterfront - Elizabeth City

This was the most rudest group of people I have ever encountered in a business. I stopped in for lunch yesterday with a group of 30 or so friends and was turned away and told they could not accommodate us due to a previously planned party due any time. We were also denied the opportunity to purchase a to go cup of water or anything else and told they do not have to go cups. I went home and called the restaurant and asked if they had a to go menu and was told sure we do . I asked if they had take containers for meals and drinks, once again I was told yes mam. Hm mm, what 's the difference of me calling for a take out or stepping off my Harley and asking in person? Go figure. Bikers are people too. For the record, all of us in our party yesterday hold professional jobs and will NEVER go back! Save your money and spend it somewhere that you will be appreciated.

I had the pleasure of being greeted by the kindest host on Wednesday night at 8:30. I sat outside by the waterfront, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The steamed seafood was the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend trying it if you happen to be in the area - it was truly amazing.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. My husband enjoys the steam pots, while I prefer steak and crab. The view is fantastic and the service staff is excellent. It's a leisurely dining experience by the water, so take your time and enjoy your drink and the view. It's definitely worth the wait.
