It's a laid back kind of place where locals come to banter at the bar, and sometimes with some adult topics so if you have impressionable children, maybe request a seat along the back wall. Laid back is really the best way to put it, if you are in a hurry or are finicky about service, some things might irk you about this place, but if you just want place to hang out with friends, play some pool, grab a bite to eat, it's a great place to go. Service is like cell service, great sometimes, not so great other times but if you're easygoing it won't be an issue. What I care for the most is the thought management put into their menu and their food. They have an array of appetizers (can't go wrong with cheese curds), whoever works the fryer is a master at their craft. They make their ranch in house (they are super proud of it), and burgers have always been good. Salads were hit and miss for me there, but overall the menu is fun and inviting and food was cooked well every time we've gone.

We went into Sawmill and one of our favorite servers from Stagecoach and Derrick, part owner/manager was there. We absolutely love both of these people. We used to frequent Sawmill several years ago. We love that these two are now working here. Two amazing people with huge hearts. You won’t find a better manager than Derrick and Annette is considered family, quirky sense of humor and all Meal type: Lunch

If your looking for a place to unwind and play pool after work or on the weekends I would NOT RECOMMEND coming here. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE! The last 3 times my brother and I after waiting a minimum of 10 minutes while the place was dead have j7st ended up walking out. I'm not talking like we where hiding in a dark corner either. We would be up at the bar front and center trying to get service. Damn near called my order in at the bar just to try and get some sort of service. The staff avoids you like the plauge! It's im sorry to say, it's pathetic. I used to be on pool league there for a while and it wasn't so bad at all. Then the staff changed and since then it's been absolute B.S. I will not be returning.
