The Black Olive- Elizabethton

Terrible experience! We accidentally sat on black olives that we usually enjoy. The food was good and the service was fine until we paid the bill. Our waiter accidentally charged us only $0.03 on our $43 check. After waiting for him to return, we had to track him down at the bar where he was chatting. When we alerted him to the mistake, he fixed it by refunding the $0.03. However, when we checked our online banking, we discovered that he had actually charged us twice, once for the original amount (including tip) and again for the exact amount of the bill. Essentially, he had given himself an extra tip, totaling $12. It seems like he may have done this before. We were disappointed to discover this and will not be returning to this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner with excellent service from Coby. I highly recommend asking for him when you visit, as he will make sure to take great care of you. Thank you.

The dining experience at this restaurant is usually great, with good service. However, our last visit was disappointing. The waitress took our order and then never returned until we were ready to leave. Another staff member brought out our food and the waitress passed by our table multiple times without checking on us. It wasn't even busy at the time, so it was frustrating. We were not happy with the service and hope the owners address this issue with the waitress, Kaitlyn. It seems like some updates are needed. We probably won't be returning to this place, especially after finding a hair in our food during our most recent visit.

Excellent service some of the best Italians. they also have hamburger seafood, chicken tender and fries. a bit of everything. Second year we came, we are from the city. would rate higher than five stars if I could. will come back all single year

Food was out very quickly, great wait staff, we'll definitely be back.
