Johnson's - Elkader

Had a hamburger and a cod sandwich. Both were great. Place was clean. However the staff was not very friendly. Seemed like customers was a bother for them.

I have eaten here since I was a kid and the food and service have always been wonderful. I go home once a year and always make a point to eat as much as I can there. It's run by the owners sons and they have carried on the recipes and home town kindness that their mother did.

Great comfort food, great service and delicious ice cream! very clean and local. I enjoy the buffet with salad and tasty kartoffels, fried chicken and mais! I would recommend!

Came out for the Sunday brunch and was not disappointed. You can choose just the breakfast buffet or add the lunch buffet for a complete brunch. Great service. Highly recommend.
