Bidra med feedbackKudos Sakura! The best choice is the Tempura Shrimp Bento Box for a sitting meal. The shrimps are delicious and HUGE! You have a beautiful side of squash, zucchini, and also an onion ring in the box, which is perfect and not over power the meal and much more. I recommend the crazy girl role (including Eel and Avacado with a surprising crunch) and the traditional Californian roles. When you go and wait, it is fun to watch the chefs, the meals at the window so fast behind the glass in the register. When you call and pick up the waiting is about 20 minutes on average or less. Sit in this restaurant is a great experience; their are beautiful paper screens that are currently hanging as decorations (very minimalist) and the Wait Staff is fabulous, attentive and fast. You always have steamers available if you like them. There is no current children's menu (which would be a good idea to add), so you need to be creative to order when taking children. There are about 10 comfortable stands and a few additional tables and chairs in the middle, which would be well suited for larger meetings. I don't know if they did this before the pandemic, but if they set up the restaurant, so that the chefs will be prepared at the meal (on the table), I think they would have a complete house ALL the time. I think people would pay more to experience this at a meal, I would. The food portions are currently so large for such a low price and the presentation is very pleasant to the eye. There are always remains for another meal. Also, Morgan did a great job as a waitress at the last visit. Kudos Sakura!
This is a wonderful, very friendly, place to eat at. There aren't many places available in the area, however, this place has been excellent each time. We drive all the way from snowshoe to eat here as a treat! Keep up the good work!
This is a fantastic spot for Japanese cuisine. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. My only suggestion would be to offer some menu options specifically for children, like smaller portion sizes.
Sakura has quickly become our favorite sushi restaurant. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and the tables, floors, and bathrooms were all spotless. The food was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed watching the open kitchen, where we could see our sushi being prepared fresh, along with the hibachi dishes for other customers.
We drove about 45 minutes from Canaan Valley Resort to dine at Sakura. The restaurant has a straightforward ambiance, without any frills. The presentation of the food was pleasing, and it tasted great. Considering the prices, I would definitely rate it 5 stars!
