John Harvard's Brew House

Had a horrible lunch experience. Place our order either waitress. We received our drinks. Waited 50 minutes for food that never came. Meanwhile the restaurant continued to fill up. Waitress never approached us again. We got up and left.

Food was excellent. The restaurant is very small not a ton of tables, reservation is best. They had at least 4 or 5 servers working but did not spread the tables out evenly so our server had 3 large tables while the rest had 1 or 2 each of smalltables. Service took longer because of this. It was not our severs fault. Still everything was good and would go again.

This is super convenient when they stay in the holiday valley and double as if they stay in the tamarack club. we arrived on Monday, drove on Tuesday and left early Wednesday. so we had drinks at the bar, followed by dinner at a table near the windows (all tables are near the windows.) the next day we had lunch at the bar and dinner at one table. each meal was preceded by complementary hot chocolate. the bar service was always good. beautiful beer selection small but ok wine selection. the **** mary is very good. kale and quinoa salat and cobb salat offered very good. fish and chips served as huge portion, but not recommended unless they really like fried food. pizzas generally good. the service in restaurant was good. the personal is friendly. I would eat here every time I came to the ski, but I wouldn't come here any other way. not to say it's bad, but I wouldn't go out of this to eat here. prices are not bad for a ski area.

Chicken wings were good, could used more crunch they had a good sauce consistency, waiter was very good.

First night we ate there food was okay which would be hard to mess up pizza and pretzel sticks. . Second night ordered steak that was burnt on outside and raw in middle. Ordered medium. Chicken sand. was burnt on outside. Both had burnt flavor. Also nachos were served as just chips and salsa. When going back to get right nachos chips were all broken. Mgr did offer some deserts but spending $80 the food should be much better quality.
