Bosun Joe's - Ellisville

I had the pork chop dinner. The chop was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes with gravy was very good in my opinion. The dinner roll was fresh and the texture was perfect. However the turnip greens were overcooked. It's as if they hadbeen simmering for hours. Service was good except for being given sweet tea when I asked for unsweetened tea because I amdiabetic but that is a constant issue in the South. Overall, I do plan to eat here again as the food and service is aboveaverage.

When visiting the area, we were looking for a good restaurant. Bosen Joe's was recommended by a camper so we decided to give them an attempt. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised. First we were met by a friendly hostess and shown on our table. Our server (Sabrina) took our beverage order shortly after sitting. The food was fresh and properly cooked. I had the chicken dinner that was cooked for perfection, Hubby had the shrimp-po-boy sandwich that was massive. Pages were also excellent. Sabrina checked us several times if we need anything. If I could, I would have given Bosen Joe's 10 stars!!! If you didn't eat here, you owe it to yourself to try them. My compliments for the entire staff!!!

Just happened to come across this delightful place while on a Saturday drive from Biloxi. (Just out exploring and shopping) The service was exceptional and food absolutely delicious! Those hush puppies with cheese sauce and the onion rings were unbeatable! If we ever head that way on an adventure again, we will definitely be back.

Lunch was very good, our waitress was good as well... We highly recommend this restaurant
