Mi Sombrero - Ellsworth

We tried a number of different things Chalupas, Gorditas, Papusas (probably I missed all this, sorry) all were good. Menu and service are underway, but the whole food was delicious and freshly prepared. The children enjoyed mainly guacamole and meat (beef and chicken both). There is no alcohol license, so you have your margarita before or after!

I was very pleasantly surprised with Mi Sombrero. The service was friendly and prompt, the prices were reasonable, the food was very good. The only problem was that there was too much food! But that's a good problem.

We visited the restaurant during its opening and again recently, and it seems to be coming together nicely. On our first visit, the place was not very busy, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. The selection and quality of the food are impressive; although I think we ordered salsa once, it was clear that it was freshly made, just like on our previous visits. The food definitely stands out against local competitors! The staff is very friendly and even offered us a discount as an apology for their rocky start. I'm really glad to see them thriving now!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I really don't understand the one-star rating below. The food is excellent and very affordable. The service was also good. It reminded me of some of the places we visited in Mexico. This place just opened, so give it a try—you'll enjoy it!

The food was fantastic, the fajitas came out sizzling and fragrant, the homemade chips to munch on are delicious, and even the kids like their tacos and asked to come back. They’re new so some bumps, but don’t let that deter you. Give them a chance, and then give them another chance, and keep giving them chances because we all start somewhere. Hope this place is around for a long time.
