Smokehouse Bbq

This has been the better BBQ that I have had here in Alaska since moving from Texas. That being said, you know I don't play when it comes to good BBQ. Love the brisket. Cowboy fries are bomb, especially if you add shredded cheese ?. I think I can honestly say I like most of the menu. I'm not sure about the chicken or Cole slaw cause I've never ordered it.

Looks, Smells, Tastes GREAT.Update: Got to my destination and started partaking. If you like moist brisket, you will love what is being dispensed. If you prefer lean sliced brisket, will be disappointed.Potato Salad is Great.

Every other time we have visited has been great. This last time, however: (1) our pulled pork sandwich was just pulled pork, no bun; (2) that pork was very overcooked and tough; (3) our cowboy fries pork was fine, except that half of it was fat; (4) the fries themselves tasted and felt like they were raw potatoes and were very soggy; (5) and our sides were wrong on our combo meal. In the end, we ate less than half of our food.We called in to request some credit for next time or a refund, Gwen told us to reach out to Haley (the manager) and said that she thought she would comp us. We left a voicemail but never heard back.

Not great. Wouldn't buy again. Nice people but bad bbq. Very dry and way too much mesquite.

A lot of food. The meat was tender and flavorful, and so were the sides.
