Small restaurant in family style, love you eating. normally came here after work. in any case will always come back. will give 5 stars, expand their storage space or environment.
I've been coming for ever and it's such a hearty experience that goes through the door and sees the same sweet lady year for year. it is like coming home after a long day to something convenient and reliable. the dame always asks me how I do it, how my mother does, etc. I also know how close it is to the subway. the other Thai places make the subway a little further. eating is absolutely amazing, truly authentic Thai eating. I mean, most Thai food in the Elmhurst/Woodside is quite authentic. I like her menu has such a great variety. I can get yum mama, spicy ramen nudelsalat, just like when I get through the street markets in thailand, but also more mainstream dishes like jungle curry or pad khi mao with crispy boar bell. I wish I had more photos, but this is the only one I can find. the bathroom is the whole way down in the cellar a chic-ish staircase. they're just cash, but there's a cash machine right inside.
I have often seen this restaurant while I went to the station. So I decided to shoot it and dinner here with a friend. I'll share some appetizers with my friend. num tok meat a salad, the grilled bark meat with wobble, chili, lime juice and roasted rice with a hauch of medium spiciest, intentionally they do not go around she went about spicy food speeches, although my palate could treat the degree of spicier, it was spicier as I was expected the lime meat was very juicy grilled pork another great appetizer to share with a party served with tamarindensoße, was boiled perfectly the sauce was a good opportunity to dip the pig to give this extra taste. for my main disc, I had drunken noodles huh I noticed that there was not much protein on my teller, but the noddle was not bad, but as the salat was spicier when I was expected. but overall was not bad. the place is quite small, so it is somehow difficult to get a table. another bad thing at the restaurant is that only cash is, so no debit or credit card accepts.
My family and I have been going to Chao Thai for about ten or eleven years now. They have never disappointed. They have incredible food and the staff there are extremely warm and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of love into their food. Definitely worth a visit!
