Pulau Pinang - Elmhurst

This restaurant definitely excels in its appetizers. So far, the best I've had is the Pinang Satay Chicken, priced at $7.95, and the Homemade Roti Canai for $4.95. For our main courses, we tried the Our and Switzerland Fish for $15.95. It came with a nice sauce, but the fish slices were so thin that I struggled to taste each type of fish. There are better places for this particular dish. The Kambing Rendang (Lamb in Curry) at $16.95 was decent, but not exceptional. Additionally, rice doesn't come with any of the main dishes, although you can add Chicken Rice for $1.70. Overall, the meal was good, but the reason I can't give it a perfect rating is that it seems the plates aren’t washed thoroughly. My plate had some dirt on it, which I had to wipe off, and that was quite off-putting.

My family loves this Malaysian restaurant; it feels like our go-to family dining spot. We order a lot of food here and really enjoy the flavors. The staff is kind and welcoming, which makes it even better. We consider it our friendly neighborhood restaurant.

To be honest, this review isn't really about the food. The dishes smell wonderful and look incredible, but the delivery staff's behavior is very disappointing. When I went to pick up an order that cost over $65, they wouldn't let me use the restroom, stating it was only for customers. So, who did they think I was picking up the order for? The rude attitude of the young woman at the counter was quite off-putting. Working with delivery apps seems to be a frustrating experience for them. Overall, I left feeling sad and upset.

This restaurant has been here a long time. Food is usually good here and tday we ordered Hainanese Chicken, Chicken Satay and 2 orders from Roti canai. Hainanese chicken was soft and tender and the sauces are large; Satay was also great;. Roti are usually large, but small part of them were a little soft and smlla parts were not completely boil. I'm sure I can get even more back here.

The food was good and the wait staff was very friendly. When we first we walk, the hostess said hello and sat us down. We order the food and the food was tasty. They were very nice and very attentive. I had a good time here and I will come back if I'm in the area.
