Perky's Fish and Fries Too - Elmvale

I tried to call ahead on the way home from work for a quick pickup, unfortunately they don't do this. The wait wasn't long though. We had two orders of halibut and chips. The batter to fish was nice. The fish was decent. However, the thickness was similar to a filet of tilapia and portion size was inadequate for the value.

Great fish and trip truck. Had lunch here after visiting the zoo across the street. Had halibut and perch. Fish was lightly batyered and very tasty fries were fresh cut. Tartar sauce was from a little packet but was still good. Vinegar was put out for people in spray bottles (old crown royal bottles with spray top screwed on!) Friendly service

Originally came across Perky's in Perkinsfield. We used to go there after visiting Midland. It was worth the drive. Yesterday, when passing the Elmvale Zoo we noticed Perky's. Well, needless to say, we did a U-turn and went for fish and chips. It is just as good as the original. It is by far the best F & C to be had in the area. The fish melts in your mouth, the fries aren't bad either. If you are hungry, and on Hwy 26 - look for Perky's

Visit my inlaws every 2 years and couldn't wait to go back and have their amazing cod and chips the best I've ever tasted will be back again.

Twice now I have stopped and ordered from here in the last two years always to go and when I get home its missing stuff from the order . may not mean much to many but when you pay extra for gravy, or a salad, or a pop etc. and you get it home its not there. it irks me cuz I don't want to drive all the way back. so I think from now on I will bring my purchases somewhere else.it adds up in the end not a benefit to me but to them it is.
