It is a very nice and friendly place to enjoy. They have good snacks and beverages
The coffee was not only good but a decent price as well. The staff there are very friendly as well. Next time you’re getting a coffee try a small business over a big corporation.Dietary restrictions: They have alternative dairy.
Just a quick visit to pick up some coffee. Nice vibe, friendly staff. Plenty of menu selections. Locally roasted coffee.Parking: Some parking behind the building and plenty on the side street.
I visited E.I.C for the 1st time while tending to Business downtown. I'm not a coffee drinker unless I'm hung over I was 12 days past my 3rd year sober. Back to my point, I stopped in to rest my legs but more so because I was curious. I'd read about the soft opening was skeptical that an upper scale coffee house would flourish on that particular corner. At least 2 similar ventures had not. Well E.I.C. broke the hat trick. There would not be a 3rd Quiet exit from the far corner of Ely Square. The baked goods strategically placed next to the register got my immediate attention in the euphoric state , captured like a deer in your head lights, I simply forgot that I didn't drink coffee. So when asked what I would like ,I said surprise me.Receiving a slight smirk a wink, I knew I was busted. She'd seen others dazed by the sight of assorted cakes, brownies, cookies international delights. Her surprise came Quickly was spot on. She chose a Carmel vanilla mixture in a medium roast that pleased my discovered sweet tooth to no end. I've been back to Ely Square 1/2 a dozen times in the 8 months since my 3 yrs sober benchmark I stopped in the fashionably dignified watering hole for the diverse clientele that would be expected from a courthouse, an adult parole facility, well more than a handful of Government Offices a couple churches . She hit this one out of the park. The owner that is. And every visit like the 1st ,in my anticipation of the mind boggling decision making process I'm about to implement choosing my baked guilty pleasures . Yes that was plural . I most assuredly inevitably forget that I don't drink coffee. I certainly never fail to finish mine, while eating my snacks charging my phone and even admiring the personal touch of the decor. I still do not consider myself to be a drinker of coffee. Unless I have business at Ely Square. Because then , I'm All In.Ssh. Hvr. HippVegetarian options: Well, I'm as carnivorous as T-Rex . But if you think you're a rabbit , I recommend the bruschetta .Parking: I'm not sure about a numeric ratio but I can say I saw parking in the back and on one side as well as directly in front on the opposite side there is a parking garage but I've never had to use itWheelchair accessibility: I will tell you that on that 1st visit , I left my over garment. Because I took an Uber there was no option to return so I called said I'd be back for sure eventually. 3 wks. Latermy jacket was retrieved from the office handed to me with a slight smirk another wink I was sold on reasonableBrunch delicious iced fudge brownie, o.k. two. Of course a silky sweet iced beverage that they swear is coffee and I'm sorry I only noticed wheelchair accessibility features when I'm driving Im on an Uber kick for the immediate future.
