Mahd House Grille - Elyria

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The service is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Our meals arrived quickly, and the OH Burger was absolutely delicious! This will definitely be our new favorite spot!

We dined outside and had to wait a bit for our food. The bar server was attentive, but the prices were somewhat high.

Honestly, I have nothing negative to share. I usually don't have great experiences at places like this, but this restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The staff were not only friendly, but the customers were too! And the food? Absolutely delicious!

I contemplated for a couple days before writing this review. I typically do not write reviews, but this review is needed. There is definitely a reason why they called this the MAHD House. I experienced the worst service I have ever had. I should’ve left at the very beginning. We sat our self and no one came to acknowledge that we were present. We had to wave down the bartender after 20-25mins. She stated oh we did not see you. I do not know how you miss a 6 foot 5 man, a 5 foot 9 female and a rambunctious child who is African-American against everyone else that was in the facility. It was very few customers in the facility at that. Finally, our order was taken and amongst the drinks ordered was a Long Island iced tea top shelf, which was not made properly. I was brought the alcohol with no Coke in it and she acknowledge she forgot to add the coke. She took it back, poured out the alcohol and then brought it back with mostly Coke. I barely tasted alcohol. Family ordered our meals which also included an appetizer and salads. It took approximately 40-45 minutes to get my husband’s salad. Then they brought out my husband‘s in child food approximately 10 minutes later, and then proceeded to bring me out a steak that was burnt when it was supposed to be medium. That was taken back, but yet I still didn’t have my salad nor an appetizer, and we have already been there about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Finally my salad and dinner came out, I had to cancel my appetizer. I also forgot to mention the two set of couples that came in after us were served way before us. Then comes the tab. They charge by the poor with alcohol. How are you going to charge somebody for the alcohol that you poured out?. The food was not good at all. Needless to say, Never Again! I was not MAHD, I was pissed. But I kept it classy.

Food is great ?..a little disappointed in the size of a Reuben corned beef sandwich.
