Moto Deli - Encinitas

I had a pretty good sandwich. I was in the mood for an Italian sub, and this one hit the spot with its cold cuts, shredded lettuce, onions, and a nice mix of seasonings, all drizzled with oil and vinegar on fresh French bread. It had everything I wanted. If I could offer a suggestion, I'd recommend using shredded lettuce instead, and perhaps adding a bit more of the seasoning oil. They also sell whole pickles, which is a nice bonus!

Moto Deli might just serve the best meatball sandwich I've ever tasted. The sauce is exceptional, and while the meatballs may have been made from a blend of meats, what truly impressed me was the bread. Unlike many places that use an overly hard, toasted ciabatta and call it an 'artisan' sandwich, Moto Deli offers soft, fresh bread that complements the meatballs perfectly without overpowering their flavor and texture. Other restaurants could definitely learn a thing or two from this. One thing I would mention is that it would be nice if the designated curbside parking had some spots for motorcycles, as the name suggests, instead of just for phone order pickups.

Cool little spot to stop for a bite before or after a ride. On a busy street. Parking isn't great, but they were cool enough to let our crew park at the pick up spot and they just moved the cones for us. Thanks Moto Deli

Great sandwich and great environment. Can’t go wrong with any of them, only complaint is that I wish you got a larger portion for the price. Great sub none the less

Love the new spot! The menu is killer, just wish they put more meat in their sandwiches. You have to try their food its amazing.
