I believe I dined at Pacific Coast Grill several years ago when they were located in Solana Beach. My sister has told me that the food and views at their Cardiff location are excellent. A friend took his nephew and niece there recently and also agreed with my sister's recommendation. Last month, we went for Easter brunch and had one of the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had in San Diego.

This restaurant is fantastic. The view alone makes it worth the trip - it's located right on the beach, where you can watch surfers in the ocean. The menu is diverse and intriguing. The only issue we had was that we were sitting under an air conditioning vent, so we were constantly blasted with cold air throughout our lunch. I enjoyed a couple of excellent Bloody Marys.
