Peet's Coffee - Encinitas

They were open when the Starbucks dining area was closed. Prices are about 50% higher than Bucky's, but at least they were available! Now I choose McDonald's because it's 33% cheaper than Starbucks... and they're open too! Yay!

The coffee is always fresh and hot—simply the best! I really enjoy their oatmeal, which comes with a variety of toppings to choose from. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Try the cold brew with the brown sugar jelly bits in it. It may seem odd, but you'll thank me later!

The new location is just a few minutes away from the previous one, offering a larger seating area and improved parking. However, it feels less intimate and a bit chilly. The servers are working hard, but they struggled to keep up; I had to wait 10 minutes for a small coffee at 3 PM. I hope they get everything sorted out soon, as I've always enjoyed Peet's.

This location features a modern interior, which is a positive aspect, and offers a broader range of food and drinks compared to most other locations. However, the service was a bit slower than I typically expect from Peet's, and the prices here are also higher than at any other Peet's I've visited.
