Sushi Lounge Encinitas

Comfortable arrival during their Happy Hour Specials (see picture for hours and specialties) and had an assortment of different roles. Some people have unrealistic expectations for a 10 dollar role of sushi; but everything was fresh, crisp and savory. They had a wide range of fresh seafood, such as Geoduck, Sea Urchin, Otoro Tuna and more, which was in their seasonal fresh cooking menu, and may not be available when you visit. Very recommended.

Pretty dang good for a strip mall sushi spot. The rolls and nagiri we're on point. Beers were cold. Would visit again.

I had the fuzzy navel roll and the spider roll. I got them both to go so it could be different in the restaurant. But I thought the flavor in each roll was lacking some type of depth. The rice was a little flakier than what I expected, and the salmon was just a little flavorless. I did like The soft shell crab in the spider roll. It was very good and the tempura's crunch was crisp with a light salt flavor. I'll give it another try in the restaurant to see if there is a difference.

I came yesterday 4/18/21 I called prior and placed an order of the crunchy roll , miso soup ? and noodles ? and everything came out so delicious ?! I was so happy about my food when I got to the beach I completely forgot to take pictures of it ????? But Holly was so helpful and friendly! Can?t wait to order again The location was clean and people where sitting inside and outside ??

I?m always looking for a good sushi joint. I found out that sushi lounge showed up on San Diego?s top list so I had to check them out! And especially that I now work at scripps and it?s just right down the street! There are a few out door seats that you cab sure at but I think they should add maybe heat lamps since it?s going to be getting colder soon (and I?m sure COVID isn?t going anywhere). I ordered off their lunch special (spicy tuna and crunch) I did feel that it was small rolls but it is also lunch. I also upgraded to the salad (which is totally worth $1) and their ahi tacos. Everything tasted delicious but nothing spectacular. I wasn?t awed by anything but I want to go back and try their specialty rolls.
