Bidra med feedbackWe had seen the sign saying that this restaurant had new managers so our group of seven decided to try it. We were the only ones there on a Thursday night so were very hesitant. However, the food was marvelous and , though we all ordered different meals, we were all suitably impressed. It was different, it was fresh and, most importantly, it was delicious. We hope they get plenty of custom and stay in Engadine. We need more restaurants of this quality.
Butter chicken was good otherwise a real let down. Engadine needs and Indian restaurant that is worth a visit. This is not quite there. The best I can say is that the place was clean, the staff friendly but for that I could eat at home. The lamb korma was not korma, it was bad korma, lamb in watery cream. The onion bhajee was tasty but careless preparation left large chunks of onion to be grappled with, had to spit it out. The samosas were quite OK and the rice was nice, hot fresh and fluffy. Although at $50 plus was not a fulfilling experience.
This is a lovely looking pub with a nice atmosphereThe restaurant part looks great but we sat in the pub part as we hadn't booked.
Upon recommendation from our hotel staff at the Deep Blue, we drove over for a few pints and a local experience.
A cozy welcoming restaurant with British touchA fireplace makes the restaurant warm. The waitress was friendly and supportive.
