Roadford House - Ennis

Excellent dining experience. We came here on a arecommendation from the host of our B&B. The food was excellent (I had duck, she had scallops), the service was friendly, and the atmosphere offered an intimate setting with few tables and a view of the local pastures.

What an amazing experience! The owner was friendly and offered excellent local advice, helping us steer clear of the crowds and maximize our visit. The room was fantastic, the location was ideal, and the breakfast was delightful!

The Roadford Restaurant is the finest dining available in Doolin and undoubtedly one of the best in County Claire. Marian, the hostess, is warm and welcoming, setting a tone for the whole establishment. And the food is simply superb. I had the duck, which was crisp and juicy. The organic salad is straightforward and fresh but has a wonderful homemade dressing. And the deserts are not to be missed.

We recently spent two nights at the Roadford House in Doolin Ireland. Upon arrival we were met by Bean the Irish setter. The rooms were great and the husband and wife who own it are fantastic. The breakfast choices were incredible. The owners did tell us they are planning on moving to their own location as they have leased this one for the last 12 years. When we return to Ireland we will definitely look up their new location. Their service was incredible and they are both extremely friendly very warm people.

I had an incredible meal! Anyone who claims that Irish cuisine doesn't meet five-star standards clearly hasn't experienced the places I've dined at during my trip. Roadford was definitely the highlight! I also stayed in one of their rooms for the night, which was clean and cozy after a day of cycling in the rain. Marjorie was the perfect hostess and kindly offered to dry my wet cycling clothes for me. I will definitely be returning!
