Full disclaimer, I am not exactly a cultured individual. This is the only place I've ever had poké; I can't really comment on how it holds up to hawaiian food elsewhere, if it's authentic, etc. That being said, zero complaints. None. If anything they could stock a bit more black pepper sauce because that stuff is fire and they were out this last go. Ordered from here probably a dozen times; each time was fast (customers ahead in line permitting) and the food was amazing. The storefront is a bit plain and the drinks are bottled, but who cares? If you feel like sushi with fresh ingredients you can grab in 3 minutes at 8pm before a 12 hour shift, they have you covered. If you're afraid of trying the crazier stuff (eel with crab and seaweed salad is better than it sounds, trust me), fried karaage chicken with black pepper sauce and no vegetables is a good intro.
This is one of my favorites for lunch with my daughter or a girlfriend! Always delicious! Fire Cracker Bowl and far bowl Hawaii Style
Kudos to the owners for keeping this place open on Mother's Day! The restaurant was packed, and the portions were not only generous but also incredibly delicious.
The bowls are reasonably priced and the portion sizes are just right. There’s a great variety of add-ins and toppings. I will definitely come back!
