Although they were out of secca, the local speciality, the staff had other suggestions. So I had the trout, which was delicious. As dessert I had the typical tropezienne cake, which also was excellent. The waiters are very good and friendly so I had a very nice experience here in the heart of Entrevaux. Strongly recommended!

A great deal going on with the decor which gave us pause on entering.This restaurant had been recommended to us by a local and we were not steered wrong. Although struggling with our very poor french, we managed to order a delicious meal and a good rosé. A very pleasant experience.

This restaurant is not located on the main square but a little farther back on a smaller one (where it is the only eatery). The chef and server often came out to talk to people many of whom were local (I guessed this due to the fact that the waiter recognized them and knew immediately how many seats they needed). Very lively and relaxed atmosphere. The square is a pretty place to eat outside. The food was very nice. I got the local specialty secca de boeuf (thinly sliced dried beef) which was tender and delicious (served on a bed of lettuce) and came with an equally tasty tartiflette (regional potato dish). This is hearty mountain food! Wine selection was good.
