Bidra med feedbackLocal place, nothing over the top. No refills on drinks (dumbest policy in restaurants ever). Got the steak and eggs as a breakfast item and got the eggs just right for me. The steak was a good cut, but medium rare became medium well and that was disappointing. Kids meals are well priced, and the pancakes were big. Everyone left happy even though the steak was overcooked.
I have never eaten at this restaurant, but I have concerns about the owners and their hiring process. I applied multiple times and went through two different interviews that each lasted over an hour. During those interviews, we discussed expanding the kitchen, food concepts, and moving a cabinet. I was informed that the owner had several other candidates to consider before making a decision. After waiting a week, I was told he still needed more time. However, it seems like they have hired someone almost every month since then. It's frustrating to see this kind of operation; no wonder the business struggles to stay afloat.
I’m always pleased when I visit this restaurant! Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend giving it a try!
I had a fantastic meal at the restaurant. I ordered the LA Cinnamon French Toast along with a side of crispy bacon and some coffee refills. The French toast came in two thick slices, beautifully glazed, and they were so generous in size that I could only manage to eat one slice, taking a bite from the other. The service was excellent, and I found the prices to be very reasonable. My bacon was cooked to perfection, and although my breakfast companion chose something different instead of the typical French toast and bacon, he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. He mentioned that when he visits Erie from Indiana, he would definitely come back. I chose Arnie for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. I will certainly return!
Great family-friendly little diner. Great service. Delicious food!
