Very dirty floors and bathroom. Ribs had weird flavor as if boiled and excessive sauce poured on after cooked. Not grilled at all. On positive note waitress was attentive and nice. First, it took over an hour just to get appetizers, then the waitress came back an hour later to get our dinner order. We ordered the Baked French onion soup, which tasted like Oregano water, the worst soup we have ever had. My husband ordered their award winning ribs . They were covered in a peppery, pasty, dry rub and a thick layer of an absolutely horrible sauce. Would have been better if they got something from a jar. I ordered a T-Bone steak that looked like it was boiled from a family resturaunt for breakfast. The atmosphere was so loud with obnoxious drunks at the bar. Wish we would have waited the 45 minutes at the local steak house we originally went to Escanaba for.

For someone visiting the area this looked like a nice place to celebrate with my wife while on our honeymoon. We came about a hour before the end of service during the week. We were seated without having to wait. The place looked empty where we were seated as there were just three other tables with other diners as well and no one at the bar. The time it took for us to get our meal was about average. The food came out okay, but overall the soup that was ordered was the only thing we could say was the best. We tried to order the pasta that was $20+ as it was something we wanted to order, but was informed there was a BIG rush before we came and they ran out of pasta. How that is possible I'm not sure. The chairs could use some looking over as some of the back rest appear to be coming apart. The bathroom was not supplied with toilet paper as well. The staff appeared to be tired, but during multiple times they were amongst one another just holding conversations rather then checking on tables.
