Erickbertos Mexican Food - Escondido

I am 39 years old and I have been eating here since I was 15. I am shocked that anyone could find something negative to say about this place. The food is sooo authentic. Same owners for years. You need to try this place. Best Mexican food if you ask me. Carne Asada burrito is to die for!

We recently moved to the neighborhood and discovered Erickbertos Mexican Food as our nearest taco shop, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered a breakfast California Burrito for the first time, which included egg, fries, carne asada, cheese, and I added sour cream. It was amazing! Definitely my new go-to breakfast option. My wife tried the fish taco and also thought it was delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Despite its unusual name, my friend and I were impressed by its normal Mexican food menu with reasonably priced items. However, what really stood out and set this Mexican eatery apart from others was the generous portions and perfectly cooked meats. I thoroughly enjoyed my Carné Asada Burrito and my friend loved his Adobada plate. If you've been disappointed by other taco shops in the area, I recommend trying out Erikbertos before giving up hope. I wasn't disappointed and you shouldn't be either!

CA burrito with no egg, potatoes were just perfectly fried and the whole burrito wasn't dry but nice and moist, the green salsa it's the boom, first time there and for sure I'll be back, kiddos to the Customer service rep in the front and to the cooks.

This prices are not the ones on the menu here. I ordered two enchiladas and nachos and paid over $20 for them. When I showed the lady the menu online she said that was four years ago. Anyways I ended buying the food because they had already made it. Let me tell you the food was some of the worst food I've ever had. So bland and tasted old. No flavor on them. The nachos were so bad, even gas station nachos deserve more praise than this. All for $20. This is place is NOT worth it. Find another Mexican restaurant near by maybe you'll have better luck there than here.
