Escogelato - Escondido

I had the brown butter cookie dough. The ice cream melts fast which is an indication of good quality. For me it was not as good as other spots I've had in San Diego. It missed pieces and if you just like the ice cream, this might be good for you but wasn't for me.

Gone downhill. New owners aren’t living up to past. Family friendly? Hardly. Also, owners could use some manners training. Maybe even have then bravery to introduce themselves to the neighborhood.

Esco gelato is great! Not only do they they have great gelato, but their coffee drinks and food is also top notch. The seating is mostly in an outdoor area, which is covered. The staff here is very friendly, too.

Visited this place for the first time today and was pleased with overall visit. I got Mint Chocolate and it was very yummy . I definitely will be back again.
