Katsu - Escondido

Delicious food! This charming little spot also has a convenient drive-thru window for those who prefer not to dine inside. I would give it five stars, but our waitress appeared a bit annoyed while serving us. The rest of the staff, however, were cheerful and eager to assist. Perhaps it was just an off day for her. Nonetheless, it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the meal or the location. The ramen was excellent, and the sushi was incredibly fresh.

I ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and added some vegetables. It was absolutely delicious! I've tried ramen at many places, and this one is definitely in my top three. I also had the cucumber salad, which was very refreshing. I will definitely come back!

This restaurant is fantastic! I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. I ordered the chicken teriyaki entree, which was served with miso soup, rice, and a green salad. The staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Nice little place with good food. Location looked a bit weird (like an old fast food building? And inside was small, but overall delicious food.

Got to go back to the Mirin Cafe today. These guys made it through covid and I think they're better than they were prior. You can tell when you visit a place and they want to stay in business. The food is fresh, Fair priced and the portions are large. It's great to find these places, it almost restores your faith in humanity. Anyway if you're in the mood for Japanese and on East valley parkway, hit it up you won't regret it.
